Guidelines

Procedures are a very important element to my class. by following these guidelines, the daily routines should go as smoothly as possible. Not only are guidelines part of class management but are part of our daily life skills. By following and respecting such guidelines, students can learn responsibility and become more independently. the way that this will be communicated to my students will be at the beginning of the year as a formal discussion and then reminded periodically.

SEATING-Open seating will be allowed for the first two weeks of school, after students have decided where they are going to sit for the remainder of the semester a seating chart will be created.

 

BATHROOM-students will not be allowed to use the bathroom during my class time. (unless it is an emergency)

 

MATERIALS-In order to function well in class students will need to make sure they bring all their materials needed for class.

 

ENTER/EXIT-Students will have to sign in and out of class when the bell rings.

 

ABSENTS- When students are absent they will be able to make up work.

VISITORS-Students are expected to respect any type of visitor (parent, faculty, students) along with their other school peers.

 

SUBSTITUTE-Students will respect all subs and follow the directions left on my lesson plan.

CELL PHONES- will not be allowed/used during class time.

​

FOOD/DRINKS- will be not be allowed in the classroom due to maintaining the classroom clean.

​

DRESS CODE- students will need to be in the appropriate uniform and wear their ID's at all times.

 

FIRE/TORNADO DRILLS/LOCK DOWNS- students will follow the emergency plan immediately.

 

LATE WORK- assignments will be deducted 10 points each day its late.
